Paul Dixon, Director

Paul Dixon has extensive experience in managing the company secretarial functions for various companies from small proprietary companies to a dual-listed biotechnology company and its subsidiaries.  Paul has obtained a strong commercial grounding through 10 years of accountancy experience in organisations of various sizes and industries, including mining, manufacturing, biotechnology, automotive and retail. Paul has an in-depth knowledge of ASX and SEC reporting requirements and the Australian corporate regulatory environment. Paul’s secretarial experience includes the coordination of various annual and requisitioned shareholder meetings, management of shareholder activism, rights entitlement issues, litigation and continuous disclosure requirements for the ASX and SEC. Paul’s accountancy background has given him a strong grounding in Income Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, Research and Development returns and compliance with other regulatory bodies, as well as cross-border transactions after managing an Australia-China accountancy function. Paul has a Bachelor of Business with an extended major in Professional Accountancy, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and Chartered Secretaries Australia.

Blair Lucas, Director

Blair Lucas is a seasoned Company Secretary in Australia, having held the role at a number of private and public companies, including ASX-listed entities, public unlisted companies and small proprietary entities. Blair has also acted as in-house counsel for a number of private and public companies in both China and Australia, and has an in-depth knowledge of the Australian corporate regulatory environment together with significant practical experience with the commercial and regulatory landscape in China. Blair's experience is very broad, including various capital raisings, cross-border commercial transactions, and general corporate and commercial law. Blair holds an LLB from Monash University (Melbourne), a BA (Hons) in Chinese, and a Grad Dip in Applied Corporate Governance from Chartered Secretaries Australia. After qualifying from Monash University, Blair spent many years engaged in investment consulting and legal affairs in China, and is fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin. Blair is a member of Chartered Secretaries Australia.

Lesley Hope, Senior Consultant
LLB, BEd, GDipMedConfRes
Lesley Hope has an extensive and varied background as a senior public servant in both the Queensland and Commonwealth Governments. In 2009 she received the Executive Dean’s Award for High Achievement in her post-graduate studies in Mediation and Conflict Resolution at the University of Queensland. Lesley’s experience and qualifications provide a wealth of knowledge in mediation and negotiation of complex stakeholder interpersonal and organisational issues.  She is a Nationally Accredited Mediator and a member of the LEADR Association of Dispute Resolvers.  Lesley also has a Bachelor of Laws Degree, including knowledge of Administrative Law and significant experience conducting confidential workplace investigations to assist Chief Executive Officers in their decision making processes in relation to possible remedial or disciplinary action.
